Traffic Microcirculation Management System (Intelligent Bus Management System)

Zhenjiang “smart bus” project is a model of the cooperation between Goldenet and IBM in the field of intelligent traffic. This project consists of two systems, including IOT-based smart bus information release platform and smart bus dispatching and monitoring management. The total investment of the project is 130 million yuan. After completion, the project has significantly improved the service level of bus transport in Zhenjiang.

The smart bus project has the following features:

  Create digital urban public transport control center, automate public bus control and management, improves bus utilization and efficiency, avoid long waiting time for bus passengers.

  relieve the city from traffic congestion and achieve low CO2 environmental objectives, improves people's living environment.

  Combine the history and culture of Zhenjiang with technology and art, create intelligent public bus stands to enhance the image of the city.

  Collect real time information, monitor and control over 80 bus routes, track all vehicles and publish the information to public, enable bus passengers to have public bus information and aware of any delays.  

  Enhance all transport centers in the city, include 400 bus stands and over 1000 buses.

  Analysis passenger data, provide scientific data analysis as a basis for government decision. Provide a fast and efficient channel for public and emergency information.

  Create a foundation for smart city services, provides mobile phone and computers a platform for connectivity.

  Establish intellectual property rights for Zhanjiang in the area of intelligent public bus system and create a model for duplication in other cities.
