Dangerous Chemicals Transit Vehicle Monitoring System
Compared with the logistics of other industries, chemical logistics is characterized by complexity, specialty and danger. Generally speaking, chemical logistics have the following important characteristics: ① Most chemical products are solid or liquid and few of them are gaseous; ② There are numerous varieties. Usually they are inflammable, explosive, toxic, harmful or corrosive; ③ The packages are multifarious; ④ Chemical logistics is highly specialized, and the production, storage and transport of chemicals require specialized means and equipment. In recent years, with the acceleration of China’s industrialization process, the transport volume of dangerous chemical increased sharply, accounting for more than 30% of China’s annual total freight volume. China has become a country with the largest transport volume of chemical raw materials in the world. Goldenet designed a dangerous chemicals transit vehicle monitoring system for Beijing, set up 20 base stations as stationary and mobile monitoring points, issued 5000 cards for vehicle tracking and traffic control, and realized dynamic monitoring of dangerous chemicals transport vehicles entering Beijing from other cities.
